a club sitting on potentially valuable land assets

In B6 ???

Strange as it may seem yes, they are sitting on two large sites which could be worth around £25m pounds - even more if you believe some reports.

However the council are obstructive to them too and have so far turned down planning permission for any redevelopment of the two sites, which means they are currently on their balance sheet at virtually nothing.

That's what attracts people like George Petchey (who stands to make a fair few million for holding 20% of Villa shares for a couple of years) and property companies like Comer.

Just been on Sky Sports the deal for vile has fallen through!!!!

On last nights performance they have decided to buy Chipperfields Circus instead, however the Comer brothers were heard to say there might still be some interest in Samuel, if he's not alergic to make-up and oversized shoes!!!!

I can see why someone would want to buy vile, it could be like a mini man u situation.

Vile have low ticket prices, if you could pick them up quite cheap, ie 60 million, you could just move in jack all the prices up which might recoup you 5 million, redeveloping the land they own around the stadium into lower class high density housing could generate up to 20 million back.

Sit on the club for the next 2-3 seasons, take the sky money every year then sell it on.
